2021/08/06 根據： COVID-19 vaccine efficacy and effectiveness—the elephant (not) in the room - The Lancet Microbe   ARR（Absolute Risk Reduction; 絕對風險降低比例） AstraZeneca（AZ）：1.2%  Moderna（莫德納): 1.2% J&J (強生)：0.93%  BNT（輝瑞-BioNT）：0.84% 看一下上述文章的： ARR (and NNV) are sensitive to background risk—the higher the risk, the higher the effectiveness NNV是指 Number needed to vaccinate。意思是預防一位受到新冠病毒傷害所需施打疫苗的人數。ARR則是NNV的倒數。ARR＝1/NNV 以莫德納疫苗而言，ARR=0.12%，換成NNV解釋，就是 1/0.012=83.33。意味著施打疫苗83.3人後才可以預防 1 位新冠病毒感染。 關於「絕對風險」，可以閱讀： 你真需要吃降膽固醇藥物嗎？
